Hakkasan Jakarta will open in early 2019, blending Hakkasan’s award-winning Cantonese cuisine with a dynamic rooftop bar and lounge experience found nowhere else in South East Asia.
Located next to the Indonesia Stock Exchange and across from the Pacific Place in the Sudirman Central Business District, Hakkasan Jakarta combines a restaurant and rooftop experience into one dynamic setting. Situated on levels 25 and 26 of the newly constructed Alila SCBD Hotel, Hakkasan will feature a main dining room and an outdoor rooftop, providing sweeping views of the urban landscape below.
Hakkasan’s rooftop will feature multiple outdoor bars, banquettes and semi-private VIP booths that will encompass guests in Hakkasan’s signature dark oak latticework. At the center of the outdoor space will be Jakarta’s top DJs, setting the ambience for the open-air venue nightly. Hakkasan’s rooftop experience will create an idyllic setting for post-work drinks or late nights out on the town.
With a focus on innovative Cantonese cuisine, cocktails, and an extensive wine selection, Hakkasan is poised to be the best fine dining preference within Jakarta. The restaurant is segregated by intricate carved wooden screens and latticing that echoes the rich and glamorous interiors of the London flagship restaurant. Signature dishes will include Peking duck served with Royal Beluga caviar, grilled Chilean sea bass cooked in honey and the famous stir-fried black pepper rib-eye beef. The kitchen is at the helm of Chef de Cuisine Sky Wong Kum Choy, who embraces a personal passion for Cantonese cuisine due to his Hakka origin.
Hakkasan is poised to be the best fine dining and rooftop nightlife experience within Jakarta and throughout South East Asia. Hakkasan Jakarta will be the 12th Hakkasan to open globally.
