Hakkasan Doha Reinvents a Series of its Cantonese Menus in Celebration of its Ten Year Anniversary in Qatar
As it continues to celebrate ten years in Doha, the modern Cantonese cuisine pioneer, Hakkasan Doha presents a complete new menu line-up for its A La Carte dining experience, Qatar’s favourite Hakka Brunch and the ever-so-popular Saturday Dim Sum, Then Sum lunch.
The award-winning Cantonese restaurant, located in The St. Regis Doha, a property known for its richness and opulence, has reinvented the Cantonese authentic experience with the modernity it has always been known for. The new menus feature a variety of signature dishes and desserts while showcasing a contemporary flair of revitalization along with many new dishes for the gastronome crowd of Qatar to be the first to sample.
The A La Carte menu features a series of delightful new menu additions including;
- Premium dim sum
- Crispy spicy beef with pickled heirloom carrot
- Steamed red snapper in lao gan ma sauce
- Whole native lobster, crispy noodle with royal supreme sauce
- Stir-fry chicken with Szechuan, macadamia nut
- Secret garden salad with nashi pear, heritage carrot, sakura cress, beetroot gel
- Spring vegetable stir-fry with mushroom (v)
- Wagyu beef black sesame fried rice
The dessert menu includes new finds for those with a zest for sweetness in Qatar to relish such as Vegan exotic pavlova with pineapple compote, hakka sorbet, coconut foam; Chocolate peanut dumplings with malted chocolate cremeux, vanilla infusion, peanut nougatine; and Summer berry “Caviar” with lychee, strawberry, rhubarb.
The new A La Carte menu is served daily from 6 pm to 12 am in the restaurant, terrace lounge, and outdoor seating.
With the widely popular Hakka Brunch, the Shou menu starting at 308 QAR, famously named after one of the ‘Five Blessings’ that signifies long life, happiness and harmony, has also had its share of delicious additions to the rich menu that is served every Friday from 12 pm to 4 pm. New menu highlights include Five spice chicken roll, Salmon crudo, Barbeque char siu rib eye beef, and more.
As for the widely popular Dim Sum, Then Sum lunch taking place every Saturday from 12 pm to 4 pm, starting at 98 QAR, features soon-to-be new favourites such as Morel King Crab, Szechuan glass noodle, Char siu bao, Glutinous lotus rice, Black pepper venison created by our expert chefs.
Promising an impeccably curated feast believed to bring luck, happiness, and prosperity in 2023 as it continues its ten year anniversary celebration, Hakkasan Doha will be launching these exciting new menus from 15th May onwards with Hakka Brunch on Friday, 19th May and Dim Sum, Then Sum on 20th May.
