This traditional Chinese holiday is said to commemorate the death of Qu Yuan, a famous Chinese poet, and minister known for his patriotism and contributions to classical poetry, who eventually became a national hero.
Celebrations include dragon boat racing with a carnival atmosphere and feasts glutinous rice dumplings with folk entertainment. Falling on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, Hakkasan is celebrating from Saturday 8th – Monday 10th June.
