Award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Hakkasan, is delighted to announce the arrival of a special celebratory set menu, available at all locations globally – including Hakkasan Doha, located at the opulent St. Regis Doha – to celebrate the restaurant’s 20th anniversary. The menu will run from the 21st of July and will be available throughout the Summer.
Since the first Hakkasan opened in Hanway Place in 2001, the brand has expanded globally with 10 locations around the world, including Hakkasan Doha. Opening its doors in 2013, Hakkasan Doha marked the third restaurant in the region following the success of Hakkasan Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Immediately after its opening, Hakkasan Doha gained popularity and recognition for its impressively high dining standards and won many prestigious awards including “Best Restaurant” five times from Timeout Doha and “Restaurant of the year” twice. Moreover, Hakkasan received 5 Fact Dining Awards for “Best Chinese Restaurant” with the latest award won in 2021.
Hakkasan has become renowned for its modern take on authentic Cantonese cuisine by placing a focus on using the finest, meticulously sourced ingredients. The award-winning restaurant has also made tremendous impacts in Doha’s fine dining culinary scene with signature dishes created specifically for Doha, currently overseen by Group Executive Chef Andrew Yeo.
In accordance with this, Hakkasan will celebrate its 20th anniversary with the introduction of a limited-edition set menu which will highlight the most popular dishes since the restaurant’s inauguration and will be served alongside newer favourites, showcasing the journey of the brand.
Priced at QAR 488 per person, for a minimum of two guests, the set menu will see diners start with Hakkasan’s signature Dim sum trio (Scallop shui mai, langoustine har gau, abalone, and chicken parcel), before moving onto the Steamed scallops with browned butter black bean sauce and Oatmeal Dover sole. This will be followed by Stir-fry black pepper beef, served alongside Golden mixed vegetable yam ring with macadamia nut. The stand-out dish will be the Supreme stock braised lobster, encased in egg noodle nests and served with lobster wontons.
To finish, guests will enjoy the delicious peach and vanilla caramelized chocolate cream dessert. What is more, the 20th anniversary will also welcome the return of the classic Hakkatini cocktail, served in a vintage-style tall martini glass with a flower garnish, available in addition to the set menu. For those who can’t resist Hakkasan’s much-loved signature dishes, a few items will be available to order as a supplementary option.
