Hakkasan Restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip is Now Re-opened, with a Reimagined Menu and Remodeled Interior Space

Global hospitality companies Tao Group Hospitality and Hakkasan Group are re-opening modern Chinese cuisine curator Hakkasan Restaurant located inside MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip. Hakkasan Restaurant is reopening after an extensive renovation of the interior space and a completely reengineered menu. The first day of operations will be Thursday, July 1.

“With the reopening of Hakkasan Restaurant being our first significant endeavor since the acquisition of Hakkasan Group, we knew this was our opportunity to create a distinctive Hakkasan dining experience that could only be found in Las Vegas,” said Jason Strauss, Co-CEO of Tao Group Hospitality. “We started that reimagination of Hakkasan Restaurant with a refreshed arrival experience upon entry to the main dining room and bar area which have been opened up to give it a social and community environment. With a menu that we’ve rebuilt from the top down, Hakkasan Restaurant will now evolve to become that perfect pre-party, social gathering spot that we’ve envisioned it to become.”

With a reimagined menu that introduces new dishes while giving a refreshed taste to Hakkasan classics, this new spin to Hakkasan’s menu includes a variety of Dim Sum available a la carte; a raw bar featuring Oysters with caviar, Lobster Cocktails, and a Raw Seafood Tower; and new dishes including:

  • A-5 Wagyu Scallion Pancake with sweet cilantro soy, chili aioli
  • Crispy Guangdong Whole Lobster with crispy garlic, black bean chili soy
  • Tomahawk Steak 32oz aged bone-in ribeye, black garlic steak sauce

Not to be forgotten, for those familiar with Hakkasan’s signature dishes, the greatest hits return including:

  • Vegan Dim Sum Basket including wild mushroom and truffle, edamame jade, crystal vegetable, pea shoot
  • Roasted Chilean Seabass with bumble bee honey
  • Crispy Duck Salad with pomelo, pine nuts, shallots
  • Signature Peking Duck, first course served with pancakes, cucumber and scallion; second course stir-fried with choice of ginger scallion sauce, black truffle sauce or black bean sauce
  • Black Pepper Beef Filet Mignon with asparagus, bell pepper, merlot sauce
  • Jasmine Smoked Wagyu Short Rib with sweet glaze, pickled lotus root

On the cocktail front, a fresh lineup of concoctions is being introduced along with some timeless Hakkasan classics including:

  • Han Dynasty with Old Forrester Bourbon whiskey, plum wine, grapefruit bitters, hickory smoke
  • Heart & Seoul with Absolut Elyx vodka, soju, Luxardo Maraschino, cold pressed lime, pineapple, raspberry
  • Scorched Melon with Olmeca Altos Plata tequila, rock melon, tamarind, cold pressed lime, firewater bitters, atomized mezcal

On the sweeter side of things, a range of Instagrammable-friendly options are available featuring:

  • The Strawberry made with hibiscus sorbet, madeleine cake, Cointreau
  • Spikey Lemon made with yuzu, calamansi gel, almond cake
  • Hakka Lollipops made with yuzu-raspberry, green tea-strawberry, chocolate-sesame, lychee-rose, peach-almond
