Flagship Hakkasan.com Restaurant Web Site Relaunch
The web team is proud to announce the new and improved web site for all twelve Hakkasan Restaurants!
Experts on three continents have been crafting a masterwork for the last three years. Dozens of designers, marketers, developers, and restauranteurs all around the world contributed.
We're excited to showcase our beautiful Hakkasan locations, our food, and our cocktails. Our new site turns our restaurant menus into galleries of striking photos. It has been an honor to pay our tribute to this internationally established brand.
This launch took thousands of JIRA issues, Slack messages, emails, and Confluence pages. Only one person could have orchestrated it all. Our London team kicked off the rebuild with brand work and some design guidelines. Then Jo-Lene Hand took the site to the finish line. She managed three different agencies and a team of independent contractors. All at the direction of a dozen marketers. We're lucky to have Jo-Lene because the next project is going to be even more complicated!
We're also lucky to have a close relationship with the world-class design and web team at The Bytery. They iterated on the design from their office in Mar del Plata, Argentina. And then they built the site to our exacting technical standards. The Bytery has proven time and again that we can depend on them when we need it. It's a joy to work with our favorite almost-in-house web team. We're looking forward to working with them on a series of web site relaunches.
