Award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Hakkasan Doha, gets ready to celebrate the Chinese New Year in style by paying homage to The Year of the Tiger, starting January 31st until February 13th. The restaurant will offer guests an intriguing special edition menu featuring sumptuous dishes and a dessert specially created for the occasion, along with tiger-inspired beverages. It comes as no surprise that the Chinese New Year is the most anticipated celebration at Hakkasan as it unites families and friends. This year, just like every year, Hakkasan Doha promises exceptional revelations.

The Chinese New Year menu will be priced at 448 QAR per person, for a minimum of two guests, starting with an extravagant drink and ‘Yu Sheng’ smoked Salmon salad as a welcome from the chef, and the Xingfu dim sum trio, boasting a baked truffle duck puff, tiger prawn dumpling, and wild mushroom puff. To follow, main dishes include the Baked cornfed spatchcock with chestnut, morel mushroom, and angelica root, plus Wok-fry wild seabass with enoki mushroom and spicy sesame soy. A gold tiger-striped Orange Dark Chocolate Firecracker and Mandarin Sorbet with orange curd, orange compote, orange madeleine, and chocolate mousse will mark the end of the luxurious feast.

Executive Chef Andrew Yeo from Hakkasan’s London outpost has forged a reputation for his fine cuisine using only the finest, meticulously sourced ingredients for elegant dishes with carefully balanced flavours. Each dish presented is a masterpiece of its own kind where he treats each ingredient with care and passion to allow them to shine in his dishes.

The Year of the Tiger symbolizes bravery and strength and is about making big changes. For an even more extravagant celebration, a wonderous setup will transform Hakkasan’s interior through a unique activation carried out throughout the entire celebration. Diners will witness the gradual change of the restaurant’s interior throughout the duration of the holiday, as wishing ribbons will be distributed to each guest to hang throughout. Guests will write down their wishes for 2022 and hang them inside the restaurant through special strings dangling from the latticework.

The Chinese New Year limited-edition menu will be available at Hakkasan for 448 QAR per person, for a minimum of two guests starting on the 31st of January from 6:00 pm until 12:00 am with the last order being 11:30 pm. For reservations, please click here.
